Lindsay Taylor, Art Collection Director to speak at Peer to Peer: UK/Ukraine Symposium

On Wednesday 13th May 2026, Art Collection Director Lindsay Taylor will speak at Peer to Peer: UK/Ukraine online Symposium. This event brings together cultural practitioners, teachers, curators, archivists, researchers and students to explore and exchange knowledge and skills about different aspects of photography.

Hosted by the Ukrainian Photography NGO in collaboration with Lviv National Academy of Arts, Open Eye Gallery (Liverpool), University of Salford (Manchester). Speakers will discuss socially engaged approaches to photography, photographic practices in higher education, photographic response to the ecological crisis, and aspects of decolonisation in the East of Europe.

The Symposium talks will be available online with English translation.

8am: Intro from Lucy Zoria, Head of Arts at British Council Ukraine

8.20am:  Photography and interaction with the public
