For this October’s Go Green festival, join us for a drop in workshop led by artists Lizzie King and Hayley Suviste, where you will get to make your own cyanotype image using plant matter. Connect with nature and get creative!
Here you can make your own cyanotype prints, an early photographic practice created in the 1800s which is a more sustainable way of creating plant imagery than many of its modern counterparts. All materials are provided, just bring your imagination! The event is also open to staff, students and the public, everyone is welcome to join.
This workshop is ran as part of Go Green week festival in collaboration with the University of Salford Sustainability Team! It runs alongside our Carry the Clouds Away exhibition, which explores the varied ways in which we find inspiration, connection, and solace in places of nature.
This event is free to attend and booking is not required, however if you would like to RSVP it helps us estimate numbers of partcipants. Feel free to drop in any time between 12:30 and 2:30.
