We are hiring: Project Development Manager, RE-CENTRE, Salford

A new and exciting opportunity is now live to support the Creative People and Places consortium for Salford’s Re-centre programme.

Role: Project Development Manager

Contract: Freelance

Fee: £15,000 inclusive of VAT if applicable

Period: April 2026 – November 2026 (Development Period)

Location: Salford, Greater Manchester (hybrid with significant in-community presence)

University of Salford is delighted to be leading a consortium to develop and deliver Re-Centre:  Salford’s Creative People and Places programme supported by Arts Council England.

Re‑centre is a city-wide initiative established to empower residents throughout Salford’s neighbourhoods to influence the cultural activities they wish to experience.

We’re looking to recruit a freelance Project Development Manager to help establish the best conditions and frameworks for project delivery, ahead of appointing a Project Director anticipated to start in Autumn 2026.
