If you haven’t already seen our current exhibition Carry the Clouds Away at the New Adelphi Exhibition Gallery, why don’t you visit us for our exclusive late opening hours on Wednesday 7th October, 5pm – 7pm. Carry the Clouds Away brings together contemporary art, community projects, and works from the University Art Collection to explore the varied ways in which we find inspiration, connection, and solace in places of nature.
While you are there make sure to join our brilliant MA students at their degree show preview as they share their amazing work!
The MA Art & Design degree show titled the end of a golden string will be showcasing work from across programmes such as Socially Engaged Art, Socially Engaged Photography, Visual Communication, Contemporary Fine Art, and Creative Technology.
We are delighted to be celebrating the hard work and bright futures of this year’s graduates! Previous years graduates from the University of Salford and Open Eye Gallery’s Joint MA in Socially Engaged practice, Anoosh Ariamehr and Fiona Robinson, have since gone on to work alongside the Art Collection as part of the OFFSHOOT programme’s Socially Engaged artist residencies. Graduate Lizzie King who studied in our MA in Contemporary Fine Art, will be running creative workshops with the Art Collection alongside Hayley Suviste this October.
During the preview there will be speeches and awards from industry partners and drinks will be provided, see you there!
