Curator Tour – City of Making Exhibition / Salford 100 Centenary Event

Join curator Stephanie Fletcher for a free gallery tour of the City of Making on Tuesday, 21st April 2026 1-1:30pm.

To mark the celebration of Salford’s 100 year anniversary, join curator Stephanie Fletcher for a informal, lunchtime gallery tour of City of Making, an exhibition bringing together contemporary art with historic archives images, reflecting on Salford’s history and future as the city of making.

Set foot into a world of prints, sculpture, drawing and mixed media works on display in New Adelphi Exhibition Gallery. Explore Salford’s contemporary trailblazers leading in the act of making in different ways, experimenting with process, form, material and function.

Featuring works by Cheddar Gorgeous, Mandy Cleveland, Kip Gresham, and many more! Artworks in this exhibition exemplify the relationship between humans and the material, technological, environmental, and social worlds around us.
