We are excited to announce that on Monday 16th February the New Adelphi Exhibition Gallery will be opening to share with you ‘City of Making’ An exhibition which celebrates Salford’s long history of creativity from its roots in manufacturing and industry, to to today’s thriving community of artists, makers and designers.
The display combines prints, sculpture, drawing and mixed media works from the University of Salford Art Collection alongside new work by staff from the School of Art Media and Creative Technology and material from the University Archive – recognising the role of makers throughout Salford’s history.
