Memory exhibition

If you haven’t visited the Memory exhibition yet you will have to hurry to do so as it exhibition closes on Friday 26 May.

Comprising of materials from the University of Salford Libraries; Archive & Special Collections and works from the University’s Art Collection; the exhibition reflects on the themes of memory, sense of place and journeys.

Includes new poetry by University of Salford Chancellor Jackie Kay in response to the University Archives, and artworks by Adrian Henri, Simon Faithfull and Darren Almond.

Part of the wider Dear Library Project, the exhibition also includes poems by some of our students, produced following a writing and poetry workshop given by Jackie Kay.
